The Miami HEAT Statement Edition uniform flips the colorway featured in its Icon Edition counterpart to present a fiery, resilient identity. “Tough red” takes center stage as the uniform’s base color, while the team’s “MH” mark occupies a more prominent location on the lower left short leg. Beyond its design, the uniform also carries a pair of historical distinctions: it became the first-ever red HEAT uniform, introduced in 1995-96—the same season Head Coach and Team President Pat Riley began his HEAT tenure—and was worn during the franchise’s Finals-clinching Game 6 on June 20th, 2006—the first of its eventual three NBA Championships.
